We love this mirror and it compliments our other distressed white wood decor. At first I thought it maybe was too distressed but once it was on the wall, it looked great. The knobs for hanging are not long enough to hang much , but we don't use it for that purpose anyway. This is a wall clock made of solid fused wood. The finish is dark walnut with a grain. The dial features easy to read roman numerals. The dial reads " Carte Du Jour" which is French for "Today's Menu". This wall clock would be a great addition to a kitchen, family room, laundry room, etc.
