I had looked all around for cat trees that wouldn't break the bank. I have two large male cats who love to perch on the platforms and sleep. Occasionally I will find one in the cube, especially if it's a cold day or if one isn't feeling well. They love the scratching posts as well. They are not impressed with the hammock, and I have not seen one of them use it nor the dangling rope. The hammock really serves as toy storage for when I'm vacuuming and mopping. I really like the height and multiple tiers of this tree. One thing is that the base doesn't appear to lay flat on my floor. When a cat jumps up the whole thing wobbles .. kind of precariously - and when they are both on there playing I get a little nervous that the whole thing might tip. I think we'll have to find something to go under it to make it a bit more stable. We've had this for about a year now and it has held up very nicely to daily use of the scratching posts. It doesn't seem like the heavy duty twine is coming off anytime soon.
My cats love it! I think its a tiny bit wobbly.

First, the cat tree is beautiful. It looks pink in the pictures but its not. It so is much more elegant than my old cat tree that was always an eyesore in the room. The hammock did not intrigue my cats so I took it off. They are having lots of fun with the circle opening and the rope. The little toys that came with the tree have also been a huge hit with my cats. They use all 5 levels and even enjoy sleeping in the box. They compete over who gets to be on the top level. The scratching posts are wonderful. I love how many there are. It was not hard to put together. I would recommend this tree to anyone. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because it tends to wobble a little. However, this does not bother my cats. I put it next to my fireplace so that it is supported on two sides. Also, the cats like to run from the cat tree to the fire place mantle. All in all, great tree, super entertaining for cats and humans alike. I should know, I had a different cat tree before and while it was sturdy it was only two levels and only came up to my chest. The cats liked that tree but they love this one. This tree is above my head and I'm 6'1". They really enjoy being higher up than there mommy. It's cute.
Awesome Buy, Highly recommended!

The item is as seen in the picture and was labelled for easy assembly as I was able to build it in less than 30 minutes. My 12 year old Persian LOVES it and began to use it the first day it was brought into the home. I highly recommend this cat tree to any cat owner. He is a little leery of the hammock but I know in time he will come to like it. Something that made the transition into the cat tree work well was putting several treats throughout the different levels so that the cat follows the smell and retrieves them to the top level, showing them a path of how they can use it. Again a great product with no issues so far. Given I have a long haired cat it is also very easy to clean with a vaccum to remove hair that clings to it (which is normal for carpeted products). Thank you again for an affordable tree that is good quality!

All my cats LOVE this tree. They were clambering up on it before I even finished assembly. Which only took 30 minutes, for a girl. And that included carrying the pieces upstairs. And unlike other reviewers - the included pom pom toys are still intact three weeks later. I have another very similar cat tree that I got at Petco - this one seems better made and the cats seem to enjoy it more. I am thankful that the toys that were included are 'quiet' since the tree is in my bedroom. They get LOTS of play. Great value for the money. Your cats will love it. Only tip I can supply is that it's easier to put the platform and stalk on top of the condo first - then mount that entire assembly in one go. Otherwise you'll need a step ladder. You can use the included Allen wrench to line up the holes in the condo with those on the shelf, for the screws.
Super sturdy and attractive

I was nervous bc our kitty wasn't into the cat tree for the first couple of days but now she LOVES it! She hangs out mostly on the top platforms and in the little housey. The "toys" that hang are different from what's pictured but it doesn't matter she loves them. The rope that hangs down seems superfluous and she doesn't pay any attention to it and the hammock isn't for her-yet anyway, however, the sisal posts have gotten her off the furniture and curtains. The size is perfect too, not obnoxiously huge but still plenty of space to call her own and the ivory color is attractive and not obtrusive in our living room at all. Overall we are so pleased with what we got for our money and would highly recommend it.
Beautiful and affordable

This was so easy to assemble and once it was assembled, I was in awe of how beautiful it truly was and how many things it had like the little hammock, a box for my cat to hide (which he uses it to sleep daily), the perches, toys, and scratching posts (he uses these too). Although I wish he would be like most cats and use everything, he only uses it to look outside and to sleep in the box. It looks very comfortable since it's all carpeted. I had to initially put catnip on it so he could jump on it. My cat is the exception, he is scared of everything. Most cats would jump all over it and use the perches and hammock. We paid a little over $100 for it which is a bargain compared to pet stores which would charge 3 times as much for the same plus delivery whereas I received free shipping and received it in 2 days. I absolutely love it. I'm still waiting for my cat to jump on the high perches to look outside but at least he's off my bed most of the day since I'm allergic to him and when he sleeps, he likes to sleep right in front of my face! I highly recommend this to anyone, especially someone with active cats. My cat is 13 yrs old and not as active but this made him happy and I'd pay anything to make my pets happy.
Great investment. Attrats cats to a whole new area.

This cat tree is very nice. I don't know if you can tell by looking at the picture but the two tallest platforms have little walls around the edges so that a snoozing cat won't roll off. Each of these top two are sized to hold one full grown cat. The entire tree easily holds all three of our fairly hefty cats without tipping. Even when they are running around on it like crazy cats. It's very steady and apparently the sisal wraped posts are very attractive for them to scratch on. They are still clawing on their original scratching post and other scratching supplies but I think the size of this has diverted them from our furniture. I would recommend it without reservation. The only problem we have had is that they disagree on occassion as to who gets to lay on the highest perch but it is fun to watch.

I was able to set it up easily and the tree is very sturdy. However, my cat has yet to actually use it after almost 2 weeks of setting it up. She sometimes stares at it but no interaction. Maybe I need to put some catnip in it? I perceive it to be a great looking cat tree but my cat just does not seem attracted to it. It may not be the cat tree itself that is flawed, but as far as satisfaction and utility that I've gotten out of it (in terms of cat usage) has been minimal at best, which is my reason for giving it 3 stars.

My kitten took to this tree right away. He knew instantly what to do with those scratch posts and he loves the little house. I was looking for a tall tree with a narrow foot print so as to not take up much floor space. I found this! It was better priced than the pet stores and found it to be more stable. Other reviewers had posted that their cat didn't use the top tier and neither did mine, even as he got older, so I unscrewed the top tier and the post from the house and placed it upside down in another room for a small scratch post. He loves it!
WELL worth the money

I live in Canada and couldn't find anything near this big for anywhere near this price in stores. [...] My cat couldn't even wait for me to finish putting it together before she was all over it. She LOVES it. Like others have mentioned, my cat doesn't use the hammock (even though I was sure she would). But she loves the top two tiers and the 'house'. It was very easy to put together - I put it together at 10:00 at night easily. I do not have it up against a wall because I want it in the window because that's where my cat loves to be, so it is somewhat wobbly without the support, but my cat is still quite small so at this point I don't think it's a problem. As she gets bigger I might have to rethink that though. I was originally looking for a carpet covered one, but the faux fur on this one seems sturdy and she is able to grip it with her claws well.I keep saying to everyone that this was one of the best buys I've made. Strongly recommend.
