I got this cat tree for my chunky girl who’s a whooping 15 pounds of awesomeness. I got it to replace another similar one, that was simply too small for her. It’s soft and very sturdy. My cat is not a big climber so this one is just perfect. The cat tree is nice quality the wood is thick and the bolts are long creating a sturdy build. The cats love the tree and all have found their own spots to lay. I know the measurements are clear in the description, but this cat tree is massive! Bought it for our bedroom and decided to move the cat trees around and keep this cat tree downstairs and we all love it and all 4 of our cats will lounge in it together and there’s plenty of space so there are no fights over cats taking each others’ spots. It’s very sturdy, I’ve had it for almost three years and it is so stable even with two “kittens” who are now over a year old (and very hardy eaters) chasing each other up and down it. I have no concerns about it falling over at all. The best part is NO CARPET! I hate carpet on cat trees, it gets so gross and I always ended up throwing them away after a year! Very nice solid wood cat tree. I’m using it outside in my cattio and plan to stain it to blend in with the outdoors . The Sisal poles are tightly wound and hopefully hold up . The sisal poles are made of strong plastic not cardboard. It was hard to find a wood cat tree , most are a veneer finish. I’m happy with my purchase! Edit !!! Cat tree has been up around three weeks outdoor and literally fell apart when I moved it around today. The sisal poles have cardboard inside and have been ruined by the rain. This cat tree said outdoor and it defiantly is not an outdoor cat tree. I’m going to try to get my money back as it is now fallen apart ! Should not be advertised for outdoor at all in the ad. Super easy to put together and the perfect height for what I wanted, unfortunately no one has gotten onto the top yet on their own accord and haven't stayed when I put them there. Hopefully, one of them will decide they like the top. The bottom was checked out immediately and has been used even by my big guy who really is too big for the bottom as seen in the picture. The bottom is a perfect size for my more normal sized cats though. I wish the pads were a little thicker especially for the price of this item. I like to change up my dog's bed going into the Winter months, so I hastily ordered this based solely on the photo and the name of the item. I have a small dog, less than 20 lbs and I figured the bed was exactly his size. The item is listed as a cat bed and I have a dog, but I ordered it anyway. When the bed arrived, I could tell right out of the box that this was not a small bed at all, so be sure you check the dimensions before ordering as some of the photos here can be misleading.
