We purchased this because our older cat was having troubles getting off our high bed. She was hesitant at first until she watched her younger pal race up and down the stairs like a crazy cat for a week. She now uses the stairs everyday to get up and down from the bed. They also like to scratch on it.

Well made, taller than most steps, perfect height to reach top of bed. My cat took to it right away. I've been looking for steps for quite awhile, but most were cheap looking, these were perfect for my need.

Two of my four cats play on these as often as they do the cat condo that I bought. I set it close to the condo because one of my cats is a bit of a fatty boots, and she can get to center of the condo easier from the top step, as well as my 18 yr old cat. The only thing I don't care for is the material that covers the steps. It comes off in small clumps when the cats play on it, and my youngest has swallowed some of them. I think a material like that that's on the condo would work better. Other than that, I'm glad I bought the steps.

I couldn't believe it...I ordered the steps in the evening, and two days later they were on my front porch. That's fast! And I love not having to pay a shipping and handling, which sometimes adds up to more than the object cost.

These steps have been a great help to our aging calico cat. She can now climb onto our bed and get down from it with ease. The steps were easy to assemble and look fine in the room (and I'm picky!). The fleecy covering is thin, but will be easy to replace if needed. It took Callie a couple of days to begin using the steps, but now she even plays on them....Good investment!

I have 2 13yr old cats that have arthritis and can't get on the bed. The first steps I bought were too narrow and one cat wouldn't use. He loves this one and used it the first day we got it! Love it!

I use this at the end of the bed for my senior cat. I have an aging population of cats and they will all get good use out of it.

My 18-year-old tabby is now blind and deaf, but this condition doesn't keep him from "remembering" where the bed is. But when I saw him land on the comforter (hanging over the side) instead of the bed, I knew he needed some help. These stairs have a unique texture (fleece) which helps him know he's going to get to the top, and then on the bed, safely. The only flaw in this system is when the other cat or dog perches on a lower step. He can't see them as he decends and sometimes a small scuffle ensues. I would only wish that a darker color was available as this light color shows dirt and hair. As another reviewer remarked, these stairs are sturdy enough for pets, not people.
