Rug looks great on our dark hardwood floor. I like the large tufts of the shag as it gives it a different look. this is not like the old shag rugs at all. I also like that it is bamboo. I haven't had any issues with shedding and it looked great as soon as it was unrolled and vacuumed. I feel it is reasonably priced, nice quality, great look and I would buy it again.
