My husband purchased the pain relief pro unit so while I was waiting for it to arrive I came here to read reviews and check prices. I was initially concerned about the life of the pads given the poor reviews so when my unit did arrive I tracked each use just to see how many uses I did get. 72 to be exact. 72 uses. Of course during that time span I did wash the pads with cold water only and allowed them to air dry 3 times but 72 uses is actually pretty good. I know the box says up to 150 uses (note the "up to" part) but the general consensus on reviews of other pads is anywhere from 70-100 uses is considered a good pad. If you apply the pads to clean skin, store them on their little storage doohickey and wash them in water only then you should get a good number of uses out of them too.. Mariinaz.
