I love this audio pier - it is just a perfect fit in my den - I am using it as a bookcase. The adjustable shelves make it so convenient to fit all my various size books. The waterfall glass on the doors makes the contents on the shelves look "dreamy" - the doors are such a beautiful accent touch that gives this piece of furniture a real rustic look . The bottom drawer slides out smoothly and the insert seperator can be removed which makes a nice size drawer for storage. Of course if it is to be used as an audio pier it is just the perfect size. The box is quite heavy, so use cart or somebody to transport it. Th rack is made of steel, chrome and glass only. Looks extremely nice. The rack itself could be assembled by single person. But you will need an assistance with fixing glass shelves, which are of grey tempered glass. There is a lot of space here for any Home Theater device. I put my Brother MFC on top, HTPC on the second and Pioneer Elite receiver on the third shelf. The very bottom one was occupied by my cat.
