I was very pleased with the quality and construction of this piece. The Hardware is all metal machine screws going into threaded metal inserts, not wood screws into wood. The fit and finish are really nice. \ BE AWARE! The dimensions given are the outside dimensions of the unit. The way it is designed, the legs are set into the shelf space. This design effectively makes the available shelf dimensions about 3" to 4" narrower side to side as well as front to back. This might be really important if you are trying to fit some AV components on it. And... Watch where the buttons, knobs and cables will fall at the corners.
