Zaha Hadid (Bagdad 1950) studied at the Architectural Association in London, where she qualified in 1977. She joined the Office for Metropolitan Architecture, with Rem Koolhaas and Elia Zenghelis, returned to lecture at the Architectural Association and then in other universities in Europe and the United States.
