 Steven Blaess, is a leading designer from Australia who has worked with numerous leading architects, graphic design companies and as a developer of concept consumer products. Many of his works of architecture, interior and industrial designs are published in international design publications and exhibited throughout Milan, Paris, Berlin, London, Tokyo, Melbourne and Sydney. Made from functional materials in truly functional and fashionable forms, his items’ contoured, ergonomic designs make them extremely easy and comfortable for everyday use, as well as eye appeal.
Alessi " Marli " has become a family of objects with an aerodynamic shape which is combined with the plasmatic nature of the object. With its small wings " marli " rests on the wall, hangs from keys, transforms and expands to hold and contain things, such as a basket for fruit, bread or biscuits.

Born in Bergamo, Italy, Laura Polinoro graduated in Drama Art and Music Studies in Bologna. Her first job was in the field of contemporary dance as art director and costume and set designer. Later she undertook research at the Domus Academy in Milan. From 1990 to 1998 she was in charge of the Centro Studi Alessi, where she operated as meta-project designer and art director, coordinating workshops both in-house and in association with various universities and design institutes the world over. She was also involved in publishing and communications activities. Items which entered production in that period are identified with the acronym “CSA”. Since 2004 products overseen by Ms. Polinoro have been identified with the letters "LPWK".
