I am familiar with Austin Air Purifiers. They can be costly, but the great advantage is you don't have to change the filters often. When ordering an air purifier, you have to be sure that you measure the square feet of the room in which you plan to use the product. Then, check to see if the purifier has the capacity for effectiveness in that area. I have had the larger Austin purifier in the past and love that it is on casters. This "junior" model has no wheels so you have to pick it up to move it to a different spot. It could be a bit heavy for some people. Austin makes a wonderful product that you can set and forget. Once I purchased Austin air purifiers for my home, not only did my allergies improve, but the house always seemed to have fresh air."..."  Read more

As an allergy sufferer, I am somewhat of an expert on air purifiers. This little penguin does a good job of cleaning the air in a very small room. Most effective air purifiers are very expensive, but this one is affordable. I like the feature that it immediately turns off when it's knocked over. I bought it for the room in which my grand daughter will someday sleep, when she is ready to stay overnight away from her home. It is loud, and when my grand daughter first saw the penguin, she ran away from it because to her it sounded like a vacuum cleaner, an appliance that scares her. My husband and I both have horrible allergies and so we decided to make our newest Wayfairs purchase the Hunter Fan Quietflo True HEPA 90 Floor or Shelf Air Purifier. Once again I am one hundred percent satisfied. It is really quiet and it works wonders! After having it on for only a couple of hours, I called my husband and said "I didn't even know that I was having trouble breathing". Our home smells so much cleaner and the air quality is unbelievable! This machine is so easy to use and it even has a knob to tell you when it's time to change the filters.
