The only drawback to this rug is the uneven tone. I would have preferred a more consistent color. The rug is surprisingly soft and I hope it holds up under the wear and tear over time.

I looked high and low for a natural fibre rug for my cob house. Didnt want synthetic fibre, foam, plastic or chemicals. This rug fit the bill exactly. It is made to last and two-sided. When one side starts to show wear (I estimate years) I can just turn it over and get a whole new rug. This item is made in India, by fairly compensated laborers and fairly traded. Smells sweet like new mown hay but is hypoallergenic. Wayfair has good deals, plus free shipping, ad bonus money. I highly recommend them and this product.

Beautiful rug that is tightly sewn and braided. Nice wheat color variations. A lot of tied knots, which will be fine if not vacuumed with a strong suction on a regular basis.

Very nice, solid rug. Beautiful color, very natural in the variation. Easy to clean and will complement any decor. We use it under our kitchen table so slipping is not an issue, but a rug pad would be needed if no furniture was holding it in place. Only negative is that it sheds so every day I have to vacuum around it.

love the rug it is exactly the look i wanted, but with three kids its already getting destroyed after 3 weeks. Not sure this will even last me a year.

I purchased four of these area rugs for four different areas of my beach house. They arrived quickly and have held up to heavy traffic and sand from the beach. The natural jute braiding looks great. They look much better in person than they do the picture too.

Its gorgeous and practical.
