Pros: -simple & attractive -not too difficult to install -black glass shelves are sleek looking Cons: -the channel for hiding wires is very small -the channel that extends upward from shelf is TOO SHORT - leaves a gap between the shelf and the tv, meaning you have no way to conceal the wires so they stick out in this gap. Only way around this is to either mount the shelf so close up under the tv that that top shelf is useless, or run your wires through the wall (which is best, but a real pain), or buy more channel to cover the gap. They could have easily fixed this problem by making the back channel of the shelf a bit longer. -the shelves are held in place by gravity, which makes me nervous if someone were to bump into one This said, once it was all up and the wires run through the wall to conceal them, it is a slick looking setup. Well designed! The shelves are just the right size for DVD player and DVR. Hides wires adequately to keep it looking neat (but I recommend using a cord cover kit to continue hiding the wires down the wall below the mount). All parts needed were included, somewhat easy install. Smooth horizontal swivel and easy vertical adjustment (needs metric socket wrench not included). TV and shelves adjustable location along track. Need to properly square up the shelves when installing to shelf mount as it attaches to peel-off sticky surface so they look straight. Must be mounted to wall stud."..."  Read more

I purchased this wall system to fit under a previously installed wall mounted tv. This rack must be installed on a stud according to the manufacturer. The center of my tv - the logical place for this rack and as it is pictured - was not on a stud. The weight of the unit,shelves, and what you put on the shelves makes the installation on drywall very iffy. We tried using new style toggles in the ten holes provided on the edges of the mount for the rack, but the heads of the bolts made the installation impossible. Our only other alternative is to install 4 toggles in the center of the mounting plate and hope for the best. I believe that the manufacturer should have anticipated this problem and provided the hardware and additional options for mounting the rack. Additionally, the glass shelves are 18 inches deep and stick way too far out into a room not to be bumped by a child. I am going to attempt to have mine cut down by a glass place. That all said, the quality of the unit is excellent and it will look great on the wall if it does not fall down with the method we had to use to hang it."..."  Read more
