This is my second one. My first one got so corroded from the very hard water here that I just couldn’t use it any longer. Was going to go with a less expensive one but you get what you pay for. The digital timer is great especially the “warm” setting. If the rest of my dinner isn’t ready I can leave the veggies keep warm in the steamer. However, the lid was cracked all around the knob. I never thought professional cookware makes a big difference. The conduction of heat surrounding the whole pan. If you accidentally cook to fast, just take it off heat and put the cover on, the stuck on refried beans started to loosen. You only need medium-low temps with this pan. Worth every penny!. Amy.
