We like the look of this table on our deck. The 54” added 6” to our previous seating capacity which we wanted without having to change the existing rug. The 4 rating is due to an obvious seam where the top halves meet; something I was wary of prior to buying. It took 45 minutes for my husband and me to put it together. It was not easy, so if you are not good with tools and many screws, washers, nuts and bolts, you may want to get a table from a big box store or super expensive table from a patio store.. Jean. I gave 4 stars mostly for my own fault. the table is pretty narrow. My own bad for not seeing just how narrow it is. Its just wide enough for 2 dinner plates to be across from each other. With 2 people sitting on the ends and 4 people around the table (2 on each side) there is barley enough room for plates and glasses, no extra room for serving platters.
