I didn’t have high expectations for this as there were no reviews and it is wood composite, but since the dimensions were exactly what I needed (and hard to find), I took a risk, honestly thinking I would be returning it. I loved this. It was a little tough putting together as the pieces didn’t line up perfectly but we got it together eventually and it has held up. We did have to put a protective clear coat over it and food was seeping into the wood and i felt like my kids were going to get splinters. The table was well packaged & arrived without any damage to the box. That said, there are two spots where the wood is chipped but not visible since under the table. The table top has a hairline crack about 6" long. One of the table legs is wobbly due to the hole for the screw was not drilled properly. This table exceeded my expectations - it’s a great neutral wood color combined with matte black metal legs. Yes the top is in two pieces but a lot of table tops are that way. 43" Round Dining Table for 4-6, Modern Wood Kitchen Table with Pedestal Base for Small Spaces

The color and texture of this table are quite nice and exactly what I was looking for. It has a decent finish that looks great in the room. However, there are a couple of downsides. First, the table is much lighter than I expected. While this makes it very easy to move around, it doesn't feel as sturdy or heavy-duty as I had hoped. More importantly, the table arrived with a few visible scratches right out of the box.
