Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. The reason we needed to buy this base was because after 1 year and two weeks the Kelly Clarkson table we bought from Wayfair cracked at the base rendering it useless. Wayfair would not make good on the table as it was 2 weeks over the year warranty but did give us a $50 gift certificate plus 10% of a purchase so we bought this base which makes the table look ten times better then the Clarkson base.
