A classic full-size, flat-bottomed wok for stir-frying and sautéing. Aluminized steel combines superb heat conduction with weight and durability, and will never rust. The brushed stainless steel handle provides a secure grip and the helper handle makes it easy to lift, even when sizzling hot.

This wok is exactly what I needed and getting as an “open box” item made it possible for my budget. We eat a lot of stir fried vegetables and I needed a wok that works on an induction range. This heavy duty, very large wok has an extra handle opposite the regular one, making lifting it from the stove easy. Its non-stick surface works well. I believe one could put it into the dishwasher but it is simple to wash since nothing sticks and it’s really too large to fit. So, right product, quality brand, good price equals another Wayfair success story.. Janie. Greenleaf, WI. Fri Jan 30 2026

Experience healthier, high-heat cooking with the Cuisinart® 12-Inch Nonstick Carbon Steel Wok. Designed with a durable carbon steel core and a premium nonstick interior, it delivers fast, even heat distribution for perfectly seared vegetables, tender stir-fries, and crisp noodles every time. Safe for all stovetops including induction, this wok combines modern performance with effortless cleaning for everyday versatility.

The 12" carbon steel wok is great. Though it came pre-seasoned, I seasoned it again before my first use. Made some stir fried rice. The result was amazing. I have been using it for almost 10 days. As I also use a lot of cast iron pans, I am familiar with the seasoning techniques. The non-stick function is amazing. I also have a 14" carbon steel wok from Cuisinart. I really love using them for stir frying and for deep frying. They are both great additions to my kitchen.. Rk26. Toronto, ON. Sat Dec 27 2025

Real stir-fry needs heat a nonstick pan cannot survive. The Alva Forest 12-Inch Carbon Steel Wok takes it — blue carbon steel heats hard and fast, recovers instantly when cold vegetables hit the surface, and delivers the concentrated sear that gives a stir-fry its character instead of leaving it wet. It arrives pre-seasoned and ready to cook, and the patina deepens with every use into a naturally nonstick surface, with no synthetic coating to scratch or replace. The deep sloping sides let you toss properly, and the acacia wood handle stays cool. Works on gas, electric, ceramic, glass and induction. The wood handle is not oven safe, so keep this wok on the cooktop. Hand wash, dry immediately and wipe with a little oil. Made without intentionally added PFAS, PTFE or PFOA. Backed by a 10-year limited warranty, built in the Belgian tradition since 1949.

This is fine I guess. I'm using it on induction, and it just doesn't heat up the way it would on gas. The bottom isn't as flat as a normal induction pan, but it still gets hot enough there. It just doesn't really heat the sides.. Anonymous. Wed Sep 30 2026
