Worked on a slanted ceiling so we could have a vertical hanging light fixture. It covered a huge hole. Pretty cheap looking but on the ceiling it doesn’t really matter. The materials feel solid and well-finished; the metal parts have a consistent finish and the glass diffuser appears free of chips or defects. Screws and mounting hardware look durable and complete. The attractive modern profile and compact 12" size should work well in hallways, bedrooms, or small entryways, and the finish matches the product images, providing a clean, contemporary look. Given the solid packaging and perceived material quality, it seems like a good value for an affordable modern flush mount. I wanted a "girly" ceiling fan and light for my MBR, and this is the one I chose. Yes, the metal color is a bit brassy-pinkish -- some would say borderline tacky/campy -- but I like it for "glamming up" my bedroom. The crystals are beautiful and the 40 or so large, weighy spheres took about 45 minutes for me to attach after the elecrician removed the older fan and installed this one. The long crystals came pre-installed, with a couple extras included in case of breakage. The fan uses a remote and has 6 speeds, moving a surprisingly impressive amount of air. The LED lights have several different colors and brightnesses. The fan runs quietly and has no balance issues thus far (it's only been a week). The clear blades fold away neatly on top of the light fixture when the fan isn't being used. IF you are looking for an understated "elegant" fan/light, this might be over the top.
