I really do like my Cuisinart Stand Mixer. It has plenty of power for the things I use a mixer for which is mostly cakes. I got a black quilted cover for the mixer to protect it from dust and keep its bowl clean. I had originally wondered how the Robins Egg Blue color would look in a stainless steel and black combo kitchen but it is beautiful. This mixer replaces my old Sunbeam twin beater mixer . I couldn't make the blades lock in position until I realized they locked in counterclockwise. Also, trying to beat just one egg white did not work for me as the blade did not reach down far enough. Also loooooove the color options on these mixers, I got the buttery yellow one and it is so gorgeous in my home. My only issue has been with the standard attachments that come with it— I do not like that they are powder coated— the paint chips and flakes off over time and to me that’s not good because I don’t want paint chips in my food.
