I bought this storage bench to place at the foot of my bed and it looks very nice. The material is a neutral gray and would probably go well in any decor. The downside to this bench is that it’s very hard and not comfortable to sit on. Once you do sit on it, the material immediately wrinkles and leaves an impression. It’s a nice piece, ample storage and easy to put together. I did it by myself. I’m only giving it 4 stars because up the fabric looks almost like Jean material - I bought the light blue. Love this storage bench! Ordered to replace a previous armless storage bench that has seen better days. This item arrived well packaged to minimize damage, arrived earlier than expected which was great, and no stains on the item. I put it together within 20 minutes, very easy assembly. The directions are very easy to follow and straight forward. The bench feels very sturdy and well made. The color is beautiful and exactly as pictured online. After putting it together, the top needs a little muscle to open and close, you can’t just do it with one hand but maybe I screwed the arms on too tight i don’t know, but definitely not a deal breaker.
