The Glenn 50 inch storage bench exceeded my expectations in both quality and pricing. I needed the storage for our winter hats, scarves and gloves to have at the ready when venturing out in our northern Michigan winters. I have always called these “deacon benches.” The sizing is generous holding so many items. This would literally work for a family of 6. This is true to size fitting into our foyer exactly as advertised at the 50 inches in width. (See photo). The wood is solid and without blemishes. The finish is a shiny dark brown color. This is solid and strong and does not wobble. The bottom of the storage area is a thinner wood and is rated to hold no more than 30 pounds. My husband assembled this in just under an hour. The small included Allen wrench did not fit the screws so my husband used his own Allen wrench. My only critique is that the included wrench did not fit. This bench is a quality item appearing rich and elegant in my home and I am sure to receive compliments.. Debbie. Gaylord, MI. Fri Oct 23 2026

The soft corner upholstery and round legs combine for a cosy appearance, while the hardwood frame is kiln-dried for durability. This ottoman is a great addition to a sofa or a superb stand-alone item.

very well made, a distressed leather look to it, sadly it didn't match my other leather items but there was nothing wrong with it at all. My son loved it so I gifted it to him, he has twins and to date its still holding up very well. It was well worth the money.. Mary. Tacoma, WA. Wed Oct 22 2025

Clean the bedroom bench weekly to get rid of dust and dirt. Use clean cotton or a microfiber cloth to gently wipe the leather or use a vacuum cleaner soft brush attachment. Avoid using a coarse brush as it may scratch the leather. In case of spills, blot it immediately with a clean cloth moistened with distilled water. Conditioning the leather twice a year will keep the storage ottoman moisturized, resilient, and soft. Keep the storage ottoman away from direct sunlight as it may cause the leather upholstery to dry out and crack and fade the color.
