Needed something to store kindling wood for wood stove. This wooden chest was exactly what I needed. The chest ls rustic,finished on 3 sides with a very sturdy hinge that holds the lid up for loading and unloading. The hasp on the front is for looks only,doesn’t actually secure the lid. Very nice chest, however it is not perfectly level on the floor. Also, it arrived with several deep cracks in the wood on the lid, and Wayfair was unable to send me a replacement lid.
