[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bins are nice and deep. Coloring is good and the plastic they are a made of seems to be decent. Flexible and sturdy, doesn’t seem prone to chipping or flaking. The lids are a hair thicker giving them some structure and good form. They don’t snap on, relying instead on the handle like clips the connect the bin to the lids creating the secure point. Here lies my issue. The bins I got were missing 2 bins worth of clips. They are secured to the bins on a pivot point and those plastic pins are not very deep. A few seemed to have release before the box they came in was sealed. I found 2 in the box and re attached those but 2 more sets were just missing. Since they don’t secure to the bins otherwise the lids can be placed just on top of the bin so I will just use them for the garage making sure not to place anything inside them that could spill.. These boxes are similar to the 16 quart Sterilite boxes in capacity and dimension. Where they differ is that these are a bit flimsier and made of a more flexible plastic. Also, the lid does not snap tightly. I recommend these for very light storage such as linens or clothing. They don't do so well for storing items in my workshop. The 12-pack of plastic storage boxes easily compartmentalizes your space and tucks away shoes, craft supplies, office accessories, and more. Each one provides 5 qt. of storage, so there's enough room for stuff you just need to slide out of the way. A handy locking lid keeps it securely in place, and the built-in handles make it a cinch to pull them off shelves and move them around. The containers are transparent, while the lid comes in a neutral gray and black to blend right into your space.
