Navy & Walnut Storage Benches

This bench doesn’t just sit in your space—it breathes history into it. Crafted from salvaged timber, each plank carries the whispered stories of its past life. The natural cracks, nail holes, and variations in tone aren’t flaws—they’re proof of character, preserved with reverence. The design is deliberately simple—just thick, solid wood atop sturdy splayed legs—because when material speaks this eloquently, it needs no ornament. No two pieces are alike, and yours will develop its own soft sheen over years of use. This is slow decor for those who believe beauty should be earned, not manufactured.

I love this bench. The seat is firm The whole bench seems very well-made. The wood is pretty. There is a vent on the floor in my entry and because of the wood slats in the shelves I was able to set it over the vent without blocking the airflow. The bench is not very wide, so it doesn’t stick out into my entry, but it’s wide enough to sit on and bend over to put on shoes. My husband has large feet and his shoes. Don’t stick out from the shelves. (Although one shoe in the photo is not pushed all the way in, so it appears to stick out) I was so surprised to realize how well the fabric matches my walls! Turned out very nice! I love it! Going to put this in my foyer for people to put their shoes in. Took about 30-45 minutes to put together wasn’t bad at all.
