Its convenient design allows it to be placed right against a wall or cabinet, and the fingerprint-resistant finish keeps it clean longer.

We are obsessed with this trash can! So easy, so functional, and really pretty too. The only thing, and almost worth a star, is that we don’t understand why the back isn’t fully flat. The battery of the lid juts out in back, and there is all this extra space behind where the bag and inner compartment rests. Even if the battery pack needs to jut out, they could still easily shave an inch off the depth of this given all the extra space, which would make this even more attractive and perfect. We love it though, just be prepared to know it doesn’t sit fully flush against its backside. If they “fixed” this design element, we’d 100 go buy that model immediately and give it six stars.. Nina. Just say, "open can" and the lid opens automatically, so throwing trash away is quick, efficient and hassle-free. You can also say, “stay open” while performing longer chores or cooking, and the lid won’t close until you say, “close can” (or it will close automatically after 10 minutes). It also has a motion sensor that opens the can with a wave of your hand and is smart enough to adapt to you and the surrounding environment — no false triggers, no unexpected lid closures.

Keep your kitchen tidy without ever touching the lid. A responsive infrared sensor opens the lid as you approach, and a button lets you hold it open for up to 10 minutes while you cook or clean. It runs on 4 standard AA batteries - cheaper and easier to find than the D cells many sensor cans require. The removable bag ring grips liners tight and hides the bag edge, so bags go in and come out without snagging, and the fingerprint-resistant steel body wipes clean in seconds.

I got this to replace two smaller trash cans in our master bath and I am very happy with the choice. The matte black matches our other finishes. Just the right size for the bathroom and is very easy to install the batteries. Bonus it came with trash bags.. Penelope. Lexington, KY. Mon Aug 24 2026
