Metal Solid Wood Storage Trunks

Hand-finished solid mango wood gives this storage trunk dynamic character by highlighting unique grain patterns, knots, and variations on all of the surfaces. It's clean-lined and elevated by two metal sled legs for a modern touch. The top opens on a hinge to reveal a spacious inner compartment to keep blankets, heirlooms, toys, and other items. Clean-lined and minimalist in design, the top is a quick surface to rest a book or a couple of baskets.

The trunk is a beautiful piece of sturdy solid wood. I purchased it because it has the black metal legs and front handle that complements my current industrial bedroom furniture. Only four stars because it arrived damaged in two places. One at the left hinge attachment to the wood trunk, the other is a split in the wood on the right side of the trunk where the leg attaches. We were able to nail the wooden block into place to attach the metal leg securely and hopefully prevent further splintering. The quality control needs to be in place for both the preparation of the furniture for shipment AND ensuring the shipper HANDLES THE FURNITURE WITH CARE DURING SHIPMENT. The estimated delivery date was spot on. Generally, happy with my purchase but will be monitoring the damage for a replacement trunk, if needed.. Tg. Silver Spring, MD. Sun Aug 23 2026

The Mesa Ridge Storage Trunk combines warm wood, richly aged copper insets, and rugged iron detailing in a substantial accent piece that is both decorative and functional. With its lift-top design and trunk-style silhouette, it works beautifully as a storage chest in a living room, bedroom, entryway, or at the foot of a bed. The wood body is accented with copper inset panels on the front and sides, bringing warmth, texture, and artisan character to the design. The copper displays a naturally varied aged appearance with deep copper, russet, and darker mottled tones that contrast beautifully with the surrounding wood frame. Iron strap-style details, rivet accents, and decorative hinges reinforce the trunk-inspired construction and add a bold handcrafted look. Beneath the hinged top, the spacious interior provides convenient concealed storage for blankets, throws, pillows, games, or other household essentials. Versatile and unique square trunks with metal frame support. These charming rectangle trunks combine elements of distressed wood and metalwork.

I originally bought these for plant stands but were bigger than imagined. I now use them as end tables for my living room. True to color picture and very light and easy to move. Mine arrived damaged on the edges from the shipping so I contacted wayfair. They offered to replace them but I preferred a discount as the damage was very minimal. They open and shut for additional storage inside. Pros: light and easy to ove, storage Cons: arrived damaged. Wendy. Aurora, CO. Wed Nov 25 2015
