Locking Transitional Traditional Storage Trunks

Got my order today. Shipping time was excellent. The trunk is pretty. Misjudged the measurements and thought it was going to be bigger but that was my oversight.. Anonymous. Sun Sep 13 2026

This large decorative storage trunk combines great style and ample capacity to create a functional storage option that need not hide in the closet or attic. The faux decoupage exterior and various style accents accomplish a vintage aesthetic, perfect for any room in need of storage and style. The frame of this trunk is composed of a durable MDF that will protect all the contents. A front clasp with a brass-like finish can be used to securely close the trunk and avoid the build-up of dust. While the side handles are smaller, they help complete the antique look. The outside is made of a distressed cotton canvas, printed in a faux decoupage style. Leather straps that run down the front are studded with metal rivets. This decorative storage trunk is a great piece for the bedroom, living room or stylized office space. The vintage allure makes this trunk perfect for both storage and decoration. Use this trunk to keep seasonal jackets, extra blankets, throw pillows or family heirlooms in one easy-to-access space.

The decorative ring handles and tones of red help pull the whole aesthetic together. The Chinese fir wood is long lasting. The lid fully opens and hangs slightly over the edge of the trunk. This makes opening and closing the lid easy and protects your fingertips from getting caught. The lid can also remain open by itself. Feel free to use both handles to sift through stored items. looks great! But the leather straps that hang down need reinforcement since its natural to grab those to lift the lid - they rip. and the side handle adds just enough width that the overall width didn't allow it to fit in the space that measured perfectly for it in our house. we are using it elsewhere and have modified the straps to make it work..
