This entry way style bench seems to be of good quality. I like the wood finish on it. It is more of a natural finish than a gloss finish. It seems to be pretty sturdy and has some good weight to it. I like the added shelf on the bottom as it offers the options to hold shoes or add in some decorative baskets to collect miscellaneous items, books, toys etc. With that, while putting the bottom shelf together with the legs, one started to pull the wood material away while the screw tried to attach to the leg almost like the dimensions were slightly off and it had to stretch to reach the screw into place. So time will tell on how long it will last or if that shift will cause the bench to separate. Otherwise, putting the bench together was very quickly. It has eight screws with washers- four attach to the bottom shelf then the other four attach to the bench seat. Took all of maybe twenty minutes to assemble. The cushion on the top is pretty stiff but hopefully will soften as it is used more. That is just something to keep in mind if you are looking for a softer cushion bench.
