It's a simple truth – woodsheds degrade over time. Wood rot, mold, pests, and weather cause damage as it sits in the backyard. So far so good with the Keter Darwin! Put it together with two people in about 4-5 hours. Everything goes together extremely easily, and we didn’t have any hiccups during installation. I love my new shed! It is very nice and modern looking and surprisingly sturdy and waterproof. It has A LOT of parts, so I strongly urge you to unpack everything and check off each piece as you uncover them. That ensures nothing is missing and helps you get familiar with the pieces. My new Darwin shed from Keter was a great find. I had resisted installing a shed in my yard to house excess garage equipment for years. I got this for my snow thrower, lawn mower and folded up beach wagon. Those went in with plenty of room to spare. I didn’t even need to collapse the lower mower handle, just the upper handle. I was worried a bit about the wind, so I put it in a sheltered spot. It also arrived very quickly, and nothing was damaged. And, the hardware bag even has several extra screws (and yes to you wisenheimers, they are extra!!!). Assembly was pretty easy. I didn't read the fine print on the actual size which is slightly smaller than 4x6. The inside dimensions are: (floor) 42" wide x 68" long, (room) 43.5" wide x 70.5" long x 76" high at peak. I suggest placing the unit on at least 1/2" plywood and screwing it down as recommended. I also highly suggest putting plywood on the floor because the corrugated plastic is spongy and will crush or puncture with too much weight. Now, let me address the people who had problems building this...you shouldn't be building anything if this unit was a problem. I'm an out of shape 5'5", 62 yr old female and the ONLY help I needed was to lift the roof on! The tools I used were a cordless drill/driver, a rubber mallet and the plastic spatula they included. I took my time with breaks and doing other stuff and was done in one day. Easy Peasy.
