Like most of what others said, its darker than advertised but I was ok with that. It has a VERY strong chemical smell that subsides after sitting outside a day or two. I love the style and the vintage look!. Anonymous. King City, CA. Sun Mar 01 2020

Reflecting romantic European flavor, this cedar chest is a solid choice. Its elegant detailing offers a mixture of simplicity and classic styling. With a warm brown finish, it's both versatile and sophisticated. A cedar-lined interior offers extra protection. Make this storage chest an anchor piece for a hallway or place it in a master suite.

BEWARE! it specifically says it is solid wood in the description (Material: Solid Wood). I suppose pressboard is a form of wood. I paid a little more for this specifically because it is listed as solid wood. I would return this but it is too much of a hassle. Honestly 2 stars is being generous. I have made many great purchases from Wayfair, but I beyond disappointed in this purchase.. Dennis. Lakewood, WA. Mon Aug 12 2024
