I thought it was more velvety. It’s just kind of a basic material. I think the fabric will actually be more sturdy. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 is because I think it’s a little pricey for what you get.. Tj. Solomons Md. Fri Oct 09 2026

The look is amazing. Instructions on assembly were incorrect. You do NOT assemble the armrests prior to the legs. Once you figure that out on your own, it assembles fairly easily. The top opens well with a strong armed spring offering a plentiful storage space.. Michele. Waltham, MA. Sat Sep 12 2026

Sturdy, perfect height. Great smooth and tough material. Looks beautiful and opens easily. The only negative was the legs did not have smooth sliders on the bottom so the ottoman gets ‘stuck’ on rugs.. Archna. Longbeach, Ca, USA. Fri May 01 2026

I’ve been looking for an oversized ottoman for my living room. I wasn’t having much luck finding any that I liked. When I would see one, it was way too expensive. So I came across this one. It was the right height and fairly close to the color of my couch. Plus, it has storage which is better. Now I can take all my blankets I use throughout the year out of my small closets and store them in the ottoman. With the price as good as it was, I ordered 2. I can put them side by side and have a nice big ottoman. Or, I can put each one at the ends of my couch. I live in an older house so my living room isn’t that big. These work perfectly and since I bought two, if I need to move them around it’s easy peasy! The only thing I’m not too crazy about is the top sides of the ottoman. The portion that lifts doesn’t have a lot of padding on it. So if you want to scootch it with your legs, it hurts your shins. The top of the ottoman is super soft and very comfortable to put your feet up. It’s just around the sides on the top. Not a deal breaker for me at all. In the photos, they look like different colors. But they are not. It’s just the lighting. I took two separate views so you can see.. Kelli. Frankfort, KY. Sun Sep 29 2024

Wow! This small sofa exceeded all of our expectations! We were looking for the exact measurement and fabric to put in our foyer. However, it was not the easiest thing in the world to put together. You need at least two people and preferably three people to put the back on this small sofa. But once it’s done, it’s beautiful.. Linda. Palm Beach, FL. Fri May 09 2025
