Nice and sturdy bench. The fabric is described as boucle, but I’d say it’s more of a chenille/ velvet. It is a matte fabric, not a shiny cheap looking velvet. A solid bench option - works great for our space. Easy assembly and it was clear and quick. However, we could tell there were some imperfections on the benches and they were just touched up with some kind of wood putty, no touch up putty was provided but it would have been nice to have. These are for a second home, which we rent sometimes, so we are keeping them. The outside holes for the screws also don’t have any kind of cover which would have been nice. Overall, a good option..
