This piece was very misleading in the box, or maybe I didn't read it clearly, but it is 4 separate pieces instead of 3. It took about 3 hours to assemble, as there were so many pieces. The hinges are soft-close, so that is a nice touch. It is very sturdy, but most definitely needs a seat cushion.
