Boho & Rustic / Lodge Storage Trunks

Blankets are the one thing a living room never has enough room for. They end up over the sofa arm, folded on the floor, or stuffed in a closet three rooms away from where anyone actually uses them. The SOLHOME blanket basket is sized to fix that. At 26 inches wide and 19 inches deep, it holds several folded throws and a couple of cushions at once, so the whole family's blankets live in one place beside the sofa. The rectangular curve shape softens the corners, and the handwoven natural brown water hyacinth brings warm texture to a room, which is why it works out in the open rather than tucked away. Underneath the weave is a hidden iron frame. That is what keeps the sides square when the basket is full, so it does not slump or bow the way an unframed basket does after a few months. A handle on each side means you can lift it to the guest room when the sofa bed comes out, or move it aside to vacuum, without dragging a loaded basket across the floor. At 14 inches tall it clears most console tables and sofa arms. It works well beyond blankets, too: pillows and linens in a bedroom, toys in a play area, or magazines and games in a family room. Dimensions: 26"L x 19"W x 14"H. Weight: 8 lb. Material: water hyacinth with an iron frame. Color: natural brown. Handwoven in Vietnam. Arrives fully assembled. Because each basket is woven by hand from a natural fiber, the color and weave vary slightly from piece to piece.

This is an absolutely beautiful piece of furniture. However, the chest came with damage to the hinge. My husband had to go out and buy new screws (because the original ones were too short) and bend the hinge back in shape before inserting the screws. Wayfair gave me a 20% discount because of the damage, which I consider good customer service. But there was another issue which I did not report to Wayfair because I was not aware of the issue at the time. The lid will not open all the way. The hinge is strong and the lid will stay open-but only about 3/4 of the way. I was able to get my stuff in the chest, but I have to bend down to the floor to get stuff out, but I have to pull it out at an angle instead of straight up. Again, my husband is going to try and adjust the hinges so that I can open it more. That said, the chest is gorgeous, but because of the hinge/lid issue-it is not worth the full asking price.. Make a striking rustic statement with the Turquoise Lightning Wood Storage Trunk, a distinctive accent piece defined by its dramatic turquoise detailing. Set against a rich brown wood finish, vivid turquoise-toned lines travel organically across the lid, front, sides, and base, creating an electrified, lightning-like pattern that gives the trunk unmistakable Southwestern character. The natural grain, knots, and tonal variation of the wood remain visible beneath the warm finish, while the contrasting Turquoise Lightning detailing brings unexpected color and artistic energy to the traditional trunk silhouette. Because the decorative pattern follows an irregular, organic composition, the piece has the collected appearance of handcrafted furniture rather than a conventional storage chest. A hinged lift-top opens to reveal a generous interior compartment for blankets, pillows, games, seasonal décor, or other household essentials. Raised on sturdy block feet and framed by substantial wood molding, the trunk works beautifully at the foot of a bed, in a living room, entryway, or anywhere practical storage can double as a bold decorative focal point.
