It was out of stock for months and is seriously expensive so I knocked it down a star. At first, when I ordered it they said I wouldn't get it for several more months (we're looking at close to a year wait at this point) but it showed up just a week after my order went through. The composter itself looks sturdy though it's too new to tell for long-term durability. It was easy to put together. I had my heart set on THIS composter, and sadly couldn't find it anywhere else, trust me I looked. I planned to turn it into R2D2. Which I did. The body took the spray paint well. The legs and lid did not. But I'm happy with my little working droid. :) It really was the perfect composter to be R2.. Marcia. Huntsville, AL. Fri Oct 15 2021

This plastic is BPA free and for contact with edibles. Setting up the composter is easy; simply place the composter in a mostly sunny spot (partial shade in hotter climates) and you're done. The composter comes fully assembled. The dual tumbler will take your composting to the next level.
