Lined in white, will close by itself, slowly, incredible craftmanship and great color. Each piece of our hand-crafted furniture was designed to showcase the naturalistic and weathered beauty in a reclaimed-looking work of art. Some of the characteristics you’ll find in every piece of our furniture include natural differences in color shading variations due to variables in the wood grains density, accentuated by hand-applied distressing. Season cracks and knots are markings that are natural responses, not manufacturing defects, and do not affect the strength and integrity of the individual piece. Our hand-crafted joinery and staining by our skilled artisans make each piece a unique work of art.

This entryway bench is ideal for your entryway or anywhere you need some extra organization and a boost of Laurel Foundry Modern Farmhouse® design. It's made from solid mahogany wood in a crisp white finish for a coastal aesthetic. Crown molding, tongue and groove paneling, and a plinth base give this hall tree a farmhouse flair. You can lift open the top to reveal two storage cubbies where you can keep toys, outdoor gear, or spare tote bags tucked away. It measures 55.13" wide, so there's plenty of room to sit on top and lace up your shoes.

This bench is made of very sturdy wood and looks great. I do agree with other reviewers who have mentioned that the hinges are cheaply made in comparison to the rest of the bench. The lid is very heavy so it will be interesting to see how long the hinges will hold up. I had previously ordered the same bench from another vendor and it showed up completely busted, but this time there was only minor internal damage. I think the problem lies in the fact that it is shipped pre-assembled, which is convenient, but if not handled properly in transit it leads to damage. Overall I am pleased with my purchase..
