We made ours 12’ and have not experienced any bowing of the bars, though we do reinforce the ends of the pile with a little criss cross apple sauce stacking technique. Posting pictures from last year (full pile) and this year (one of three racks full-must not have felt the need to take a picture of the finished pile), so you can tell they’re still in good shape. It's been a year and it has held up great! Not entirely perfect at the get go as I had to use a sledge hammer and piece of wood to insert my pressure treated 2x4s into the provided slots. The slots did not allow for lumber to pass through (due to plates) so my plans for simple leveling had to be changed. Catalog photos of the item do not provide this information. I am writing this review a year later and I still remember the pounding it took to get those boards in. Great welds!! I doubt regular no. 2 boards go in any easier though.. Sean. Jonesboro, AR.
