This looks like a really nice little trunk, straight out of the box, appears to be solid construction. Lightweight, solid bottom, slat design for sides and top, treasure chest style. Needed something to store kindling wood for wood stove. This wooden chest was exactly what I needed. The chest ls rustic,finished on 3 sides with a very sturdy hinge that holds the lid up for loading and unloading. The hasp on the front is for looks only,doesn’t actually secure the lid.
