Works well for mostly used items. I wish I had of gotten the dark grey instead of stone color. I definitely need a bigger one for holding totes. I’m hoping they go on sale because I need a bigger one. Very easy to assemble. Flimsy doors and hard to open, you need 2 hands because they stick on the bottom. But it’s ok for what I use it for. Just wanted to make the area more organized. I wish my hose bib was -1“ further away so could open right side of door full range. As you see in photo.. Joyce. Escondido, CA. Fri Jul 10 2026

This shed has a greater internal depth dimension than most others we found. The plastic was not as thick as we expected, but once placed on the wood frame foundation as recommended it felt sturdier. We like it.. Rosalee. New Berlin, WI. Fri Sep 04 2026

Great little outdoor storage closet! Assembly was very easy and can easily be completed by one person. It’s lightweight, which makes it convenient to move around if needed. I also purchased two shelves separately, and they fit perfectly and have worked out really well for the additional storage space. I love the color because it’s very neutral and blends nicely with our outdoor space. I also think it will fade nicely over time as it’s exposed to the elements. We recently moved from several acres to a house with tiny yard but we still have lots of yard tools that we want protected and out of sight. I think this little shed will help but it’s not big enough and especially not tall enough. We will probably look for an additional taller one for the other tools that didn’t fit. We should have allowed for more than we thought. However, for the price point, it’s a good deal. We don’t have it exposed to rain and wind, but it appears to be water tight and reasonably sturdy. It just needs to be a few inches taller.. Susan. Olympia, WA. Fri Oct 30 2026

UPDATE: Update: The company was kind enough to send out the broken piece. I’m very happy with the result. There is an option to build a shelf in it yourself - with wood_ I’ll be doing that to make it more useful as a storage container ( ***Final Four images show the item after the new part arrived ) ORIGINAL COMMENT: Too Fragile. I’m not happy with this product. The item split in three places while assembling. One of of the rubber breaks broke off the piece that holds the hinge together, and so now the door wont close. I’m actually not to certain it didn’t just come this way - I can’t saw the piece and I never saw it break. This is not the quality I expect from a solid rubber item that I hope to last for years. 1) Broke at the hinge - when my partner used her foot to bang the cap on - she says she didn’t even use her full strength 2) Broke at the end when putting the caps on 3) the drill slipped out of my hand and immediately made a hole. If you buy make sure you measure the item, it doesn’t fit our county-standard garbage bins by either height or (when both are side-by-side (width). Which is fine because we are happy to use it as a regular storage. Except the door wont go on. The other thing is that the put together is pretty simple, but the large pieces weren’t labeled. I would advise counting the faux wood slats to tell which is which.. José. Atlanta, GA. Sun Oct 18 2026

This shed fit the size I needed. Overall it’s a good product but the pictorial instructions were a bit hard to discern in a few parts. Some of the pictures were a tad small and a few portions had part numbers reversed from what was on the part.. Gary. PA. Sun Jul 19 2026

The wooden outdoor storage cabinet shed is designed to keep your tools for garden and outdoor adventure well organized and brings more fun to your outdoor activities and life style.

Use narrow outdoor areas efficiently with the DuraMax SideMate Plus 4 ft. x 8 ft. Vinyl Lean-To Storage Shed. Designed for placement beside a home, fence, or other structure, it provides enclosed storage for garden tools, bicycles, lawn equipment, and seasonal supplies. The reversible door helps adapt access to your layout, reinforced framing adds support, and the included foundation helps create a stable installation.

This worked out well for our needs. Definitely not a one-person assembly job as some pieces either didn't align exactly right or needed someone else to hold pieces together so they could be attached. The holes in the door don't align very well so it's hard to attach a small lock to keep the door from swinging outward. Everything was labeled and the instructions (mostly pictures with directional arrows) were easy to follow enough. If you can assemble Lego sets, the assembly instructions were about the same method. Yes, you need a floor. Do measure the space before buying and cutting (tip - HD will give you one free cut on the giant board. Having it in two pieces makes it much easier to install inside). We also needed a ladder to assemble the roof. It is a bit flimsy though it worked well for us as we installed this in the small space between the house and fence, nestled up against another part of a fence that does not open. That way, we're not worried about it blowing over with heavy winds. [I was incentivized by Wayfair with a monetary reward in exchange for a review]. Diana. San Jose, CA. Thu Apr 23 2026

First off you definitely need two people to build it. It goes together relatively easily and is not particularly complicated. The holes don’t always line up so it would be beneficial to have self tapping sheet metal screws. Depending on what yOu sit the shed on you will want to attach it and this doesn’t come with anything to attach it with. It is not heavy and will blow away on a windy day. The lock doesn’t lock. That is a faulty part. It is a nice shed and will fit your garden tools. Gwenn. Mableton, GA. Wed Oct 30 2024

This outdoor storage shed features a built-in window and solar-powered LED light for bright interior day and night without wiring. Constructed from durable galvanized steel with a reinforced frame, it resists rust, rain, and wear. The sloped roof sheds water and snow effectively. Includes lockable door with keys for security and integrated air vents to reduce moisture. Easy assembly with pre-cut labeled parts, detailed instructions, and work gloves included for safer installation by adults.

It is definitely a two person job to assemble. The components fit together and are as described. Instructions can be confusing. We did have a parts issue which Wayfair/Garvee rectified quickly and to our satisfaction.. Leanne. Springfield, IL. Sat May 16 2026

It’s smaller than what I expected, and feels flimsy during setup. But that’s on me for not reading the description more thoroughly. Overall good, and working well for what I need it for!. Kristian. Slc, UT. Wed Sep 23 2026

The Signature vertical storage shed seamlessly combines elegance and durability. Crafted with resilient technology, this small shed boasts a wood-like appearance without the upkeep, thanks to the innovative DecoCoat texture. It is perfect for storing items like long-handled tools, gardening equipment and more because of its size and sloped threshold for easy maneuverability. The shed comes with two shelves and shelf support as well as a floor for clean and safe storage of all of your items. The generous double doors and place for a lock mean you can keep your items safe and move them in and out with ease. Though the outdoor storage cabinet looks like wood, it’s actually made from a durable weather-resistant resin and is steel-reinforced and has thick double-walls. All of this is in an easy-to-assemble storage shed kit that you can put together with ease and basic tools.

I am very impressed with this outdoor storage shed! The design is sleek, and the wood-grain finish is attractive, even though it is clearly a durable resin material up close. Its tall, vertical footprint provides a good amount of space, and it’s really ideal for storing long-handled garden tools like shovels, brooms, and rakes. Assembly was roughly two to three hours. I completed much of the assembly by myself, but it was helpful to have another person at points to keep panels aligned. The process involves driving dozens of fasteners into plastic without existing pilot holes, so having a power drill on hand is a must if you want to make assembly smooth and efficient. Having built-in shelving is helpful for organizing smaller items, though I would avoid using them for anything heavy. The support relies on screws set straight into the plastic structure, so its not intended for substantial loads. All in all, I'm happy with how it turned out. It fits our outdoor equipment well, and we like the modern style. I'd definitely recommend it if you want compact, attractive outdoor storage!. Jean. Lexington, KY. Tue Nov 03 2026

Enjoy ample storage space with this convenient metal shed. Designed with traditional construction, it features built-in ventilation for enhanced airflow. This secure storage solution is compatible with a padlock, offering peace of mind for your belongings.

It's certainly lighter weight, smaller than I imagined. Maybe I chose the wrong one. The metal is thin. It has a floor FRAME, but bare bottom. I'm putting mine on concrete for garden tools, and storage so I attached a sub floor wood panel, cut to size, attached to the floor frame, with bearing 360 wheels just in case I need to move it for any reason. It Arrived with damage to all panels, in the exact same panel area.UPDATE....ALMOST ALL OTHER PARTS WERE SCRAPED, SCRATCHED. I IMAGINE THIS WAS DUE TO THE RAW EDGED WOOD PIECES USED FOR SHIPPING/PACKAGING!! Who does this??? Area around holes for screws were scratched up. As if it had been assembled before. Im considering a return!!. Sandra. Valencia. Fri Sep 18 2026
