It took us about three to four hours over the course of two afternoons. I recommend two people during assembly. Once assembled the bin seems very sturdy. Suncast has excellent products that last for years, and years. This large deck box was very easy to assemble, is waterproof, and very sturdy. I had one that I purchased over 20 years ago in brown and left it at my previous residence when I moved. It was still in great condition. I expect this new one to last just as long.
