The RSI-Maze 48-gallon (180 liters) Geared Compost Twin Tumbler transforms leftover waste and garden refuse into rich, nutrient-dense compost with next to no effort at all. A key feature is the two compartments which means you never stop composting. When the first compartment is full, you start on the second compartment. Once this side is full the first side is ready to empty, and the cycle continues. For larger families that create more compost material, the interior divider between the chambers can be removed to allow the entire composter to be used for single composting. The strongly reinforced barrel is UV protected and contains multiple air vents to promote aerobic decomposition. The large opening and sliding doors allow for the easy addition of waste and collection of ready compost. A very unique feature is the gear and handles which ensures easier turning of the drum and the geared ratchet will automatically lock rotation in any position (a feature that is not seen in most compost tumblers at this price point and volume). The frame is powder-coated zinc and its open front design allows for easy access for the collection of ready-to-use compost from the barrel with plenty of room for a compost cart or bucket to slide in underneath.

The RSI-MAZE Bokashi Composter System is designed for easy use right inside of your kitchen. This stylish yet compact indoor composter will transform food waste (including cooked food, meat, fish and cheese) into a super healthy, nutrient rich compost. The newly designed system ensures a complete air seal to ensure that the fermentation process utilizes the Bokashi bacteria as a compost activator. Bokashi is a Japanese term meaning fermented organic matter. It can refer to either a liquid or bran-based material that has been fermented with EM (friendly bacteria). Bokashi products are generally pleasant smelling and, when added to your bucket, are designed to accelerate the fermentation of organic matter. The fermentation process does not produce adverse smells so you can keep the bucket under the sink or anywhere in the home. Once treated in the indoor composter, the material can then be safely dug into your garden or placed in your compost bin.

We had a serious fruit fly issues with several other compost bins. This one seals completely and so far it hasn’t been an issue.. Anonymous. Thu Jul 24 2025

My Wife really likes this addition to her compost regimen. This container is very handy, instead of having to deal with the hassle of plastic bags to put vegetable peelings, coffee grounds and other composting matter into, then dealing with the subsequent leaks and mess...we have this very handy composting container. It not only keeps the mess in, it keeps the smell in also, e.g. onions, leeks, garlic, etc. It’s very convenient and handy to take the compostable corn liners out of the container to put into the Maze Compost Bin!. Bokashi is a Japanese term meaning “Fermented Organic Matter”. It refers to either a liquid or bran based material that has been fermented with EM (friendly bacteria). Bokashi products are generally pleasant smelling and, when added to your Indoor Composter, are designed to accelerate the fermentation of organic matter. Bokashi Grain (bran) causes fermentation which helps turn your food scraps into a fertilizer packed with nutrients, microbes, and probiotics that will bring life into your soil. The Bokashi Grain (bran) is infused with beneficial microbes that flourish in an anaerobic (meaning oxygen free), acidic environment. One of the benefits of Bokashi bran is that it doesn’t have the strong, foul smell that traditional composting tends to create. Once treated in the Kitchen Composter, the material can then be safely dug into your garden or placed in your compost bin. A 2.1 gallon (5liter) bag of Bokashi Grain (bran) will typically last an average family for three months.
