This Easy-Turn 3 gear handle can be easily retro-fitted to the RSI-Maze 65 Gallon Dual compartment tumbling composter (RSI-MCT-245). Designed specifically to help with turning large and heavy compost materials. With the 3 internal gears this handle will make it 3 times easier to turn the compost tumbler.

The RSI-MAZE Bokashi Composter System is designed for easy use right inside of your kitchen. This stylish yet compact indoor composter will transform food waste (including cooked food, meat, fish and cheese) into a super healthy, nutrient rich compost. The newly designed system ensures a complete air seal to ensure that the fermentation process utilizes the Bokashi bacteria as a compost activator. Bokashi is a Japanese term meaning fermented organic matter. It can refer to either a liquid or bran-based material that has been fermented with EM (friendly bacteria). Bokashi products are generally pleasant smelling and, when added to your bucket, are designed to accelerate the fermentation of organic matter. The fermentation process does not produce adverse smells so you can keep the bucket under the sink or anywhere in the home. The RSI-Sifter is ideal for sifting composted materials from your composter or compost heap. The sifter is made from galvanized steel frame with a stainless steel mesh sifter tray. The openings are approx. 1/4” to allow fresh compost through and hold back the not yet composted materials. This is a starter kit that includes both the RSI-Maze Two stage 65 gallon Compost Tumbler, including the heavy duty 3 gear Easy turn handle kit. The Composter is Constructed from a zinc coated metal frame to prevent rust and a body constructed from high impact UV protected plastic. The patent pending built in ratchet lock along with the geared rotating handle make it much easier than other composters in the marketplace to turn and mix the compost material The large open area underneath the composter allows for easy emptying. With the optional compost cart that fits right underneath the composter makes moving your newly made compost simple, clean, and easy. The composter itself can be set up to compost the full 65 gallons at a time or to be split into 2 composters allowing for compost to be made while the other side is being loaded with fresh compost material, keeping a constant flow of compost from being made.

Good looking product, but assembly was tedious. Follow the Instructions exactly for quickest results, but don’t expect to do it in two hours. Two glitches. The bolts supplied with the cart were not long enough and required a trip to the hardware store for longer ones. Only every other hole on one drum end were in alignment. A power drill remedied that. I have some concern about the quality of the steel fastening that will be contacting the composting material. Am concerned that the plated fasteners will corrode quickly. Stainless steel fasteners would be more expensive but much more durable. Will know in a year. When assembling, just be patient. Many small parts.. Janet. Ayton, ON. Mon Mar 30 2026

My Wife really likes this addition to her compost regimen. This container is very handy, instead of having to deal with the hassle of plastic bags to put vegetable peelings, coffee grounds and other composting matter into, then dealing with the subsequent leaks and mess...we have this very handy composting container. It not only keeps the mess in, it keeps the smell in also, e.g. onions, leeks, garlic, etc. It’s very convenient and handy to take the compostable corn liners out of the container to put into the Maze Compost Bin!.
