This gun safe is perfect! It’s not heavy but it’s still sturdy and good quality. I love that it has pistol pockets. That is a very handy feature! There are adjustable shelves and a motion sensor light that comes on when you open the safe. To open it, you can either use the key or program your code and use the keypad. Although it doesn’t appear very big, it holds more than you think it will. The description says it holds 12-15 guns but we were able to fit more than that. Didn't realize it required assembly until it got here. Probably my fault for not reading carefully. It's a decent storage locker, but the gun rests are not great and isn't quite a sturdy as I hoped for from the pics, but it will do. Actually received the size bigger than I ordered, but again Wayfair customer service was awesome and issued a 25% refund and I'm going to make it work to avoid disassembly and shipping back.. Robert. This gun safe was packaged well. The instructions left out a few steps but it was fairly simple to put together on my own. It’s a nice small locking gun safe. This is good to store guns in so that no one accesses them but it is not a heavy duty protective gun safe that would keep an intruder from breaking into nor fire safe. This gun safe is amazing. It is very attractive as a storage cabinet in any room. The details on the outside of the door like the filigree pattern on the corners are great. Then on the inside this has it all. A small compartment with it's own separate key for valuables makes them doubly safe. Included is a zippered envelope style container for documents. It is perfect for papers, jewelry or cash. This is waterproof too. There are a few different ways to unlock this safe and would definitely be very difficult for a child to access the contents. Once you turn the key it is still necessary to turn the knob below it to open the door. There is a fingerprint option too in case you want access the contents quickly. I love the light up feature when the safe is opened too. It will be handy to not fumble around in the dark. There is plenty of space for rifles and pistols and you can even modify the gun rests.. On the inside of the door there are several different pockets to keep all of our gear truly organized. Another great feature is an alarm after someone tries to open the safe too many times and fails. Oh my husband loves this gun safe! It has lots of storage space and different ways to unlock it. You can use a code, fingerprint or key! Good basic safe for keeping firearms secure from children I’m satisfied with this safe for what it is. Assembly took approximately two hours, so be prepared to spend some time putting it together. Once assembled, it feels reasonably sturdy and does what I purchased it to do. The electronic lock is a nice convenience and makes accessing the safe much easier than dealing with a traditional key lock. The primary purpose for me is keeping firearms safely secured and out of the hands of curious children, and I believe it accomplishes that well. That said, buyers should have realistic expectations about the level of security this safe provides. It is not a high-security safe designed to withstand a determined thief, and it offers no fire protection whatsoever. I would consider it a good option for basic firearm storage and keeping unauthorized family members from accessing firearms, but I would look at a much heavier and more robust safe if theft or fire protection is a major concern.
