This gun safe was packaged well. The instructions left out a few steps but it was fairly simple to put together on my own. It’s a nice small locking gun safe. This is good to store guns in so that no one accesses them but it is not a heavy duty protective gun safe that would keep an intruder from breaking into nor fire safe. There are adjustable shelves and a motion sensor light that comes on when you open the safe. To open it, you can either use the key or program your code and use the keypad. The safe arrived damaged from the carrier. I was assured by Sanctuary that the safe left their warehouse in perfect condition so they could do nothing to help me. The safe is well built and locking mechanism works well. Since the damage did not affect the function of the safe (cosmetic) and was not visible where I placed it I decided to keep it as Wayfair offered me a discount. I like this little gun safe, but it’s definitely smaller and more lightweight than I expected. If your guns have scopes, fitting more than one can be a little tricky because there just isn’t much room inside. I would not count on comfortably fitting 1-2 scoped guns in it.( non Scoped should be fine). The keypad is convenient , and the safe has a little light that comes on when opened.
