I wish I knew the dimensions of the drop down before buying! It is not what I thought it was, but it is good for its intended purpose. I wish it would have stated the dimensions for the drop down panel. It is 15in x 8.75in. So if you have a really small sewing machine, it will work fine. Also, it is a little misleading. The panel doesnt drop and hide away the sewing machine. It drops down a max of 5.5in. So it is meant for dropping the sewing machine down so the table is level with the needle plate. So, it definitely works for that purpose for a small machine (you can see in the picture, there is no way I will be able to use the drop down feature). I have a Juki workhorse, so its not really what I wanted. But the lower shelf is big enough to fit my Juki, so I can have a fold out sewing machine desk and a place to hold my machine. Not exactly what I was looking for, but the price was decent. This craft table is a perfect addition to my craft room. Delivery was great. The package was very heavy and you need 2 people to lift the box. It took me 3 days to put together because there were so many parts. I wish they had wooden dowels instead of plastic. I should’ve used glue because they kept falling out. I didn’t put the doors on because I liked the open shelves. I did not put the top on so it would fold out because I didn’t have room so just kept it folded. Everything works great! Like I said it is small, but it does fit my sewing machine, not as big as my other table I have. but this is on wheels so I can roll it around whenever I want. all in all I give it five stars..
