Although it was packaged well, it somehow came with a small dent in the side (see picture). After researching a lot of options, I chose this safe due to its greater capacity to resist higher temperature fires and standing for several days in water, as well as its certification for holding small firearms. it's a compact size with a heavy-duty design. The extra mechanical keys are great to have in case there is a problem with the electronic keypad. The shelves are padded and there is additional storage in the inside of the door. It's helpful to have the bolt-down kit that will deter anyone from attempting to remove the safe from its location. WOW. What a fantastic upgrade from the lightweight safe we've had forever. The drop box on top makes it easy and convenient to put things in the safe without having to unlock it every single time. This came in the mail. I live in an apartment so I had to go down and bring up a 90 pound box from the mail room. As, FedEx did not even bother to bring it to my door. I open the box and it’s tons of pieces to assemble together. I start trying to assemble it together, and the holes were either not already drilled, or they were way too small for the screws. Didn't realize it required assembly until it got here. Probably my fault for not reading carefully. It's a decent storage locker, but the gun rests are not great and isn't quite a sturdy as I hoped for from the pics, but it will do. Actually received the size bigger than I ordered, but again Wayfair customer service was awesome and issued a 25% refund and I'm going to make it work to avoid disassembly and shipping back.. Robert.
