I would like to use it to make jellies but it's not the right time of the year. (It can separate the seeds from the fruit.) That will also be my first time making jelly with my own hand picked berries. Meanwhile, I'm using it for cooking. If there are fresh herbs that need to removed later in a recipe for instance, a little bag can be made for them out of the cheese cloth. The water or broth will still go through the bag. So I don't forget it, I tie the little bag to the lid of the pan. Speaking of broth, it can be used to make that too. It helps to get meat and veggies out. Trivial yet still a possible indication of reduced administrative care/honesty regarding their product listings. These tiny little seam rippers can be useful tools for many small tasks around the house, so I'm happy to have 10 of them to put in various locations, in addition to the one I needed for actual sewing seam ripping..
