Round baskets do something square bins struggle with, which is soften the hard lines of a room. Rattan keeps them light enough to shift from one corner to the next even when loaded with blankets. A pair gives you one for the bedroom and one for the bath, or both stationed together beside a sofa where throws pile up.
Square baskets earn their keep in a corner, where flat sides sit close to the wall and give back floor space. Rattan keeps them remarkably light, so carrying one full of blankets from bedroom to living room takes a hand rather than a plan. Stand the two side by side, or station one in the bath for towels.
Floor-scale storage you actually want to look at is rare, and rattan is the reason this pair manages it. Both baskets are deep enough to swallow blankets, laundry or a pile of toys, and the smaller one sits beside the larger while barely crowding a room. Park them at the end of a sofa, in a closet nook, or beside a dresser.
