The live edge shape will vary on every piece due to the unique features of the natural wood. No piece is exactly alike, the subtle imperfections such as knots and cracks are part of the wood's character.

The shelf is gorgeous and HEAVY. Simple to install - all you need is a drill, hammer, and tape measure. The wood is obviously much darker than pictured, which I was a little disappointed about. I was also disappointed that “normal” sized books do not fit on the shelf. It curves down at the edges so I did not take that into consideration for the measurements - it will fit a book that is 4”-4.25” in width. Overall, very happy.. Carly. Helena, MT. Sat Jul 27 2024

Hi! These shelves are beautiful and elegant, I gave them a 3 star because if you're unlucky like us and have no studs to drill into, DO NOT USE THE PROVIDED DRYWALL SCREWS. They are not secure anchoring options. If you love the shelf's look, you're better off spending 2$ more at any hardware store to get legit drywall anchors (do not use the pop in ones). We ended up sanding our shelves down because the coloring was darker than we thought and we love how they turned out. We're currently in the process of re-securing our shelf since one is drooping. See pictures for recommended drywall anchor, they come in various sizes but the key thing to look for is that it looks like a weird wide screw.. Jessica. Irvine, CA. Mon Feb 02 2026
