Great safe. Definitely lightweight. Anonymous. Sat Oct 03 2026

This is heavy metal! See how thick the lid is? I have some other cheap gun safes but those are like tin-can to this one. It is solid heavy, 12 gauge steel I guess? Surprised for this price. Big enough for my 2 guns and clips. Programming is simple and straight-forward, easy to use. Fingerprint works well, the spring lid pops up pretty quick. You can turn sounds off pretty easy by a button click, very convenient. Love it. Greg. NJ. Mon Apr 20 2026

This KAER gun safe features a spacious, multi-zone interior for organizing rifles, pistols, ammunition, valuables, and accessories. Its assembly-required design provides more usable storage space than many fully assembled cabinets. A subtle printed pattern creates a clean, understated look that blends easily into bedrooms, offices, closets, or garages. Fingerprint, keypad, backup key, and emergency power access provide convenient entry. Secure the cabinet to a solid wall using the rear mounting holes to improve stability and help prevent tipping.

Good basic safe for keeping firearms secure from children I’m satisfied with this safe for what it is. Assembly took approximately two hours, so be prepared to spend some time putting it together. Once assembled, it feels reasonably sturdy and does what I purchased it to do. The electronic lock is a nice convenience and makes accessing the safe much easier than dealing with a traditional key lock. The primary purpose for me is keeping firearms safely secured and out of the hands of curious children, and I believe it accomplishes that well. That said, buyers should have realistic expectations about the level of security this safe provides. It is not a high-security safe designed to withstand a determined thief, and it offers no fire protection whatsoever. I would consider it a good option for basic firearm storage and keeping unauthorized family members from accessing firearms, but I would look at a much heavier and more robust safe if theft or fire protection is a major concern. Overall, it’s a good value for its intended purpose, but it’s important to understand what you are and are not getting.. Liz. Virginia Beach, VA. Mon Sep 14 2026

Pretty nice safe! Nice quality for a non-fireproof safe. I have been wanting this for a while...so it was nice to finally be able to get it. Pretty easy to assemble by myself. Recommended 2 people during some parts of assembly...but I was able to do it myself. I found a perfect spot for it in one of my walk-in closets. It was very easy to set a fingerprint, as well as a passcode.. Tanja. Mon Oct 05 2026

This gun safe is amazing. It is very attractive as a storage cabinet in any room. The details on the outside of the door like the filigree pattern on the corners are great. Then on the inside this has it all. A small compartment with it's own separate key for valuables makes them doubly safe. Included is a zippered envelope style container for documents. It is perfect for papers, jewelry or cash. This is waterproof too. There are a few different ways to unlock this safe and would definitely be very difficult for a child to access the contents. Once you turn the key it is still necessary to turn the knob below it to open the door. There is a fingerprint option too in case you want access the contents quickly. I love the light up feature when the safe is opened too. It will be handy to not fumble around in the dark. There is plenty of space for rifles and pistols and you can even modify the gun rests.. On the inside of the door there are several different pockets to keep all of our gear truly organized. Another great feature is an alarm after someone tries to open the safe too many times and fails. This is a very heavy, sturdy, well made and solid gun safe. There was some assembly required but one person can assemble this in about an hour. The instructions were clear.. Terry. Birch Run, MI. A great gun safe if you need to store just a few items. I like the hidden key compartment and the ability to add a code. The holsters for handguns are helpful, and the shelf up top can be used for amo. This came in the mail. I live in an apartment so I had to go down and bring up a 90 pound box from the mail room. As, FedEx did not even bother to bring it to my door. I open the box and it’s tons of pieces to assemble together. I start trying to assemble it together, and the holes were either not already drilled, or they were way too small for the screws. I packed it back up and decided to return it. Wayfair then charged me $91 to return it back to them.. Anonymous. Thu Jul 09 2026
