Took us (2 people) about half a day, but it was 100 worth it! The stickers for the screw holes are nearly invisible if you line up the wood grains, but they aren’t very sticky. I ordered 2 of these for my sons room. They are perfect. Easy to assemble. Only reason for the 4 stars is the ability to tip. We bought this bookcase in black and it fits nicely in my husband's office. It was not difficult to put together, but it definitely needs to people to stand it up, as the directions state.
